Hello there my dearest, darling-est, and most beloved readers! I hope everyone is well, that they are happy, and that life is good.
I was working just now, re-reading my latest manuscript until my eyes crossed when I something popped into my mind. That something is, did you know I also write under another pen name? I do!

When I first started writing, I did so under the pseudonym Wendy Nelson-Sinclair. A name that I chose as an homage to my family and my grandma Katherine. Right now, the WNS website is down and under construction. I had it up for many years, but admittedly, didn't put a lot in work into it because of all else I had going on. That is being remedied, however, and soon, I hope to have WNS's website up and running!
Now, I can hear you thinking, "What kind of books did you write?" "Are they a genre I'd enjoy as a romance fan?" "Would I even like these books?"
The answer is . . .

Yes, my novels written under Wendy Nelson-Sinclair DEFINITELY appeal to romance fans, as well as historical romance, historical fiction, and supernatural fantasy/fiction fans! Each title contains a bit of several genres, some all of them.

The Unfortunate was the first novel that I hit 'publish' on. What an adventure it was writing it too. I poured a lot of myself into this novel. A lot of tears were shed, a lot of sweat poured out of me, a lot of pain, joy, sadness, happiness, sorrow, and hope. I experienced pretty much every emotion one could think of as I wrote this ode to myself. But it wasn't just that. This novel was also a love letter to the love of my life. A letter that took a lot out of me, but stands as an ever-lasting testament to how I feel and how that will never change until the last breath leaves my body.
The Unfortunate also combines my love of history, suspense, intrigue, romance, and so much more. When other authors say, write the book that you would want to read, this is it. Why? Well, here's the blurb to tell you why.

When Evie Harper steps onto the treacherous streets of Jack the Ripper's London, she knows she must use her wit and courage to survive. With a long-lost love stirring up emotions that she thought she had long buried, Evie must take a gamble and decide whether to play it safe or risk it all. Will Evie come out of this game victorious or will her enemies take her down?
With a heart full of courage and a sharp mind, she must decide if she's willing to risk it all for a chance at love. After all, fortune always favors the bold.

Once I finished The Unfortunate, I didn't stop. I went on to write my supernatural/fantasy/historical fiction title, The Island of Mists and its sister book, The Voyager. Those were later joined by The Secrets of Water, which was inspired by "What the Water Gave Me" by Florence + The Machine, Edgar Allan Poe and Virginial Woolf, and finally, my grandma Katherine again who always told me that if you gave your secrets to the water, it would safeguard them until you were ready for those secrets to be told.

So, needless to say that between the two pen names, I stay a busy girl. As I've stated in earlier posts, I have several releases coming out within the next six months under my Becca Baldwin pen name. I also hope to have the third and final book from The Island of Mists series, The Healer, out and about by the end of 2025. The main character, Eweln, pronounced Ewe-lynn, has been pretty tight lipped so far, but I'm slowly earning her trust. 😁🥰
I hope you all have a good day/good night (depending on when you read this) and I will talk to you soon!
Much love and so much appreciation,
-Becca
