Stories matter. As writers, we want to give our readers the best possible stories we can deliver. And that can lead to us getting to be a little bit too ambitious. Like 2023 when I thought it was a GREAT idea to try to publish ten times and wound up publishing eleven, and then two more right off the bat in 2024. Little did I know that those lofty goals at that time would come with consequences.

*cues burnout*
That's right! Burnout, and boy, did I have it. After I published Still the One, I took MONTHS OFF working towards a goal. I kept writing, primarily working on my thesis aka my upcoming release Baking Me Crazy (pre-order coming end of December), but I did not have any releases planned until late spring/summer came and I got that itch to publish again. Hence a series of titles, Claiming What's Mine, Taking What's Mine, Stealing What's Mine, and Say I'm Yours all came to be. Then enter a fall down a staircase (about halfway down) and getting really banged up meant that once again, delays were here. This time, though, it wasn't because of ambition.

So, what does this mean for 2025?
It means that next year, I'm going to publish. I'm just not going to chase such a high number of publishing titles as I did back in 2023. I am, however, going to release five titles (Two of which are finished and currently going through the final editing stages), including the aforementioned Baking Me Crazy, Stone Cold Heart, and the last book in the A Girl Gone Crazy series, A Girl Says Goodbye. The other two are yet to be determined, but I'll keep you updated so you know what to expect and when.
As always, I'd like to say thank you for all the well-wishes, the kind words, and most importantly, the support, not just throughout the past month, but overall. When I decided to stop wishing about becoming a published author and actually hit that 'publish' button, I never expected to achieve what I've achieved so quickly and you my dearest, darling-est readers, are one-hundred percent the reason why. I am so grateful to you all and you have my undying love forever.
-Love always
